Today was our first confirmation class. We had a very casual and relaxed class today. we passed out the class scheduled and talked about how the class would be structured and how they want the teaching methods to occur. It looks like we will try to have music, videos, dramas and q&a time.
We also had discussions on the room and how we wanted to make it more youth friendly for them and more causal and inviting. I think that we will be adding some rugs, pics, lighting fixtures and maybe some sport fatheads.
The class also listended to some information regarding confirmation retreat, possible mission trip and big stuf camp. Next week, “class begins” as we begin a 10-week session on the 10 Commandments.
